Upcoming Electric Vehicle events are charged up for the next few months, and car owners are urged to participate along with anyone who wants to know about EVs from the drivers themselves. Please put them on your calendar. All of these are joint efforts by the Sierra Club and EV Advocates of Ventura County, except the club is not involved in the Port Hueneme banana fest.
August 19 & 20: Wings over Camarillo
We will have an educational booth and two showcase vehicles at the STEM Pavilion. We need to have two cars each day and volunteers to staff the booth. You will be able to attend the airshow as a side benefit of volunteering. Register to attend or volunteer with our booth:

September 22: Santa Maria
A great community event downtown from 5:30 – 8:30pm, partnering with SB APCD, the C5 Clean Cities Program, Sierra Club and the Community Environmental Council. We need a couple of volunteers and vehicles to go north to spread the word. Register to attend or volunteer with our booth: https://driveelectricweek.org/3938 and https://www.dtfsantamaria.com
September 30: Port Hueneme
We will have an educational booth and some vehicles at this Banana Festival, 10am to 6pm.
In addition to volunteering, you will be able to taste a variety of banana treats and learn about how the port is electrifying their operations. Please sign up to represent us with your vehicle and or to provide booth staffing: https://driveelectricweek.org/3936 and https://bananaportfest.com
October 1: Ventura Harbor
This is our annual big show, celebrating National Drive Electric Week. This Sunday show was wonderful last year for our first time at Ventura Harbor. We already have 15 vehicles and 67 people signed up. But the more the merrier, so register now to attend and/or volunteer to make this event even better than last year’s, if that’s possible! https://driveelectricweek.org/3582
