Santa Barbara-Ventura

The Santa Barbara-Ventura Chapter of the Sierra Club serves California's Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

We are divided into four groups - Arguello, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Conejo.

The Santa Barbara-Ventura Chapter encompasses a wide and unique diversity of natural resources. From our wilderness areas in the St. Ynez Mountains to the coastal beauty of "America's Riviera" we have a number of America's most special places. Enjoy them with us and please help us save the special ones that are left. California Grants Waiver for Dangerous Santa Barbara Pipeline, Sierra Club California demands environmental review, public participation

The state waiver is a major step toward Sable Offshore Corp. restarting oil production from the Santa Ynez Unit’s three offshore oil platforms and transporting that oil through pipelines traversing state waters and three California counties.
