The Sierra Club: Delta-Sierra Group is a community of volunteers based in San Joaquin County united by a common set of beliefs: that people are a part of nature and that our common practice is to leave no trace.

By fulfilling our mission to explore and enjoy the urban, rural, and wild places of our home, we live in nature and work to protect it and ourselves from harm. Using all lawful means available, we practice and promote responsible stewardship of Earth’s ecosystem and resources. In educating and enlisting our neighbors to protect and restore the environment, we share these values of harmony and justice, leaving a well-tended home to the countless generations that follow us. We advocate for environmental justice for all.
