Climate Action Surveys
Starting in 2008 the Loma Prieta Chapter, working with the various Cool Cities Teams, has periodically conducted surveys amongst all of the cities within Santa Clara and San Mateo counties to determine the status of each city's greenhouse gas reduction efforts. These surveys have been analyzed and compiled into publications called Climate Action Surveys, which are presented below.

Guidelines For Transit Oriented Development
The Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter Sustainable Land Use Committee reviews and makes recommendations on plans and proposals near El Camino, downtowns, and transit stations. Such plans include General Plans, Downtown Plans, Station Area Plans, Pedestrian Plans, Bicycle Plans, individual development proposals, etc. In addition to Sierra Club California Urban Growth Management Policy Guidelines (2002), we use our Chapter's following Guidelines to review plans and projects:
