Nashville Green New Deal Town Hall

What is the Green New Deal? What's at stake and who will it help? What could it mean for Nashville and Middle Tennessee?

Join us at this Town Hall to hear leaders in our community share about how the Green New Deal is the biggest opportunity of our lifetime to invest in the American people by combating the climate crisis and creating millions of new jobs in the process.

We'll also talk about what a Green New Deal could look like for all of us here in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

In addition to hearing from youth activists from Sunrise Movement Nashville, we are delighted to have local elected officials and partner organizations speaking and sharing their visions for a Green New Deal and how we make it happen.

Seating is limited, so RSVP using the ticketing link to reserve your ticket! bit.ly/sunrisenashtownhall. Invite your friends to this event! But a Facebook RSVP will NOT reserve your ticket, so make sure to RSVP with the link above!

Councilman Freddie O'Connell (who's introduced ambitious clean energy legislation currently being considered by the Metro Council) will be speaking, as well as representatives from:

Sunrise Movement Nashville
Indivisible Tennessee
Sierra Club Middle Tennessee
Tennessee Interfaith Power and Light
Tennessee Poor People's Campaign
And more to come!
