Superfund Sites and Natural Disasters

The effects of climate change become more visible by the day. Natural disasters -- from forest fires to hurricanes -- affecting our communities are likely to worsen and increase as a result. There are many consequences of these disasters; one is the release of toxins from Superfund sites, chemical facilities, and other hazards, which could poison our water, air, and environment.

As the frequency of "un"natural disasters increases, we'll be updating this map with the various Superfund sites and chemical facilities in the path of the storm.
