Well, that was fun! Our eight new conservation teams each hosted a our-hour webinar in June and July. We all learned something, including the need to make sure at least two people are Zoom-hosts in case one of the hosts loses power in a summer storm. Yikes! We had over 400 people register for the series overall and some have been motivated to join our conservation teams, which meet roughly monthly via zoom.
Conservation Chair Tom Au and Chapter Chair Jim Wylie made this lighthearted video summarizing the webinars and what we learned. We will definitely do this again - maybe make it an annual or semi-annual series.
