Welcome Caroline Weiss, Sierra Club Pennsylvania's new Environmental Policy Advocate Intern!

Caroline, a resident of Lancaster, is a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh double majoring in Environmental Studies and Political Science. Her prior experience includes environmental education and sustainability advocacy at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the Pitt Climate Center.

As the Chapter's Environmental Policy Advocate Intern, she is learning about current environmental legislation, conducting campaign finance research, attending hearings, and beginning a power mapping project.

In her free time, Caroline can likely be found outside hiking, biking, running, or kayaking.

She'll be with us for the next few months, so if you see her around, be sure to say 'hello' and give her a warm Pennsylvania Chapter welcome!
