The D.C. Public Service Commission is considering a case to modernize DC's electric grid with an eye toward sustainability. It's called Modernizing the Energy Delivery System for Increased Sustainability (MEDSIS).
On December 18, the Sierra Club submitted comments asking the Public Service Commission to prioritize a modern electric grid over the financial health of utility companies, speed up its consideration of the case and convene working groups with stakeholders on ways to expand clean energy in DC.
