Hikes with Another Summit - Community Members Welcome!

For anyone interested in becoming certified to lead Sierra Club hikes, please contact Aaron Leonard at aaronleonard@guardianrevival.org.

Community members are welcome to participate in hikes organized by Another Summit, the Sierra Club Military Outdoors partner in our area. The Outings Leaders at Another Summit are trained to Sierra Club standards. Although Another Summit primarily focuses on military veterans and first responders, they are open to all community members joining them.

Transit Equity Day Walk

Celebrate Transit Equity Day a little early with Another Summit on a transit-accessible walk through the quaint village of Cold Spring, NY — one of the best portals to the outdoors that's accessible from NYC using public transit only, no car needed!

This outing highlights the importance of equitable access to transportation and nature for all communities, including guardians and their families.

Sierra Club Military Outdoors Outings

New York New Jersey Trail Conference Outings

The Sierra Club Lower Hudson Group is a member of the New York New Jersey Trail Conference, which conducts group hikes and provides a wealth of information enabling you to access many trails on your own. You can also volunteer as an educational trail steward or a part of a trail-maintenance crew once the NYNJTC resumes their programs.
