Las Vegas ICO conducts day trips to areas in and around the Las Vegas area for groups that serve 10-20 participants, ranging in age from 6 to 19 years old.  

We venture to areas that include:

• The trails, canyons, and springs of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, a high desert paradise amid red sandstone cliffs.
• The slot canyons, railroad tunnels, and waterways of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area including river rafting on the Colorado River, perfect for winter outings.
• The ponderosa and bristlecone pine forests of the Mt. Charleston area in the Spring Mountain Range where summer temperatures are cool.
• Valley of Fire State Park, where Anasazi petroglyphs are frequently sited, and Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, on the route of the Old Spanish Trail.
• Death Valley National Park, and Zion National Park, full day trips to experience the beauty and conservation efforts of the national park system
• Urban parks that include Wetlands Park, a wetlands habitat created in the urban setting, and Springs Preserve, teaching patrons how to live a sustainable life in the desert.
