Denver, Colorado -- Today, joined by Governor John Hickenlooper and Mayor Michael Hancock, Emerald Exposition announced that Denver has landed the largest outdoor trade show in the world, the Outdoor Retailer Show. This will provide Colorado, and specifically Denver, with a $45 million economic impact to our community. The move highlights the important work that Louis Benitz, the head of the Outdoor Recreation Industry Office and Visit Denver, has done to show off Colorado’s immense potential in hosting Outdoor Retailer here in our great state.

Washington, DC -- Today, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke issued a secretarial order instructing the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to take steps to expedite the oil and gas permitting process on public lands.

Washington, DC -- Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia granted Sierra Club and its allies’ motion to vacate EPA’s stay of a rule that limits methane pollution from new oil and gas operations, in an attempt to delay its implementation. The Court agreed with our coalition, ruling that the agency did not have legal authority to issue such a stay.

Park City, UT –  Yesterday, Park City Council joined three other councils in passing resolutions affirming public land ownership by the American people. The resolution highlighted public lands as “a distinctly prideful part of our national heritage and a legacy for future generations.”
