WASHINGTON — Today, Donald Trump formally began the process of withdrawing the United States from the historic Paris Climate Agreement. The earliest the U.S. will be able to complete the withdrawal is one year from today, November 4, 2020, which is the day after the next Presidential election. It would only take 30 days for a new administration to rejoin the deal.

Little Rock, AR - Former coal lobbyist and EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler announced another rollback of a key water toxics safeguard today a move that would allow the vast majority of coal plants across the country to dump their toxic, industrial sludge into the drinking water of millions of Americans.  

In Arkansas, the rollback would allow the Flint Creek, Independence, and White Bluff coal-burning plants to continue to discharge toxic sludge into the waters of the state.
