Conservation Committee
The Conservation Committee is involved in establishing the Chapter as a powerful voice in environmental work around the state by researching and providing policy recommendations to the Policy Strategist.
Legislation
The Legislative Committee establishes the chapters position and engagement on various bills in Salem as well as meets with state and local lawmakers on critical issues.
Outings Committee
The Outings Committee coordinates outings throughout Oregon, supporting recruitment, certification, and ongoing leadership of outings leaders.
Political Committee
The Political Committee endorses candidates for public office at all levels of state and local government who will help protect Oregon's environment and stand in solidarity with frontline communities.
Forest Team
The Forest Team investigates and develops positions for the Chapter on a wide range of issues related to forest protection and forest policy.
Columbia River & Snake River Salmon Campaign
The goal of the Columbia River and Snake River Salmon Campaign is the breaching of the four lower Snake River dams. This is the single best opportunity to restore abundant salmon runs and to pass this heritage to future generations.
