---
We are proud to endorse Catherine Thomasson, M.D. for State Representative for Oregon House District 45.
Catherine cares about people and the environment. She is passionate about environmental policy, homelessness, public health and combating climate change.
Thomasson worked with Physicians for Social Responsibility as Executive Director in Washington DC from 2012-2016, and with the Oregon Medical Association on climate change, the environment and environmental justice for over twenty years. She’s been actively lobbying the Oregon Legislature on these issues since 2019.
Catherine will strive to garner bipartisan support to meet the many challenges of climate change, including the move away from fossil fuels and meeting or exceeding emissions reduction goals, while ensuring that social and environmental justice principles are upheld to include all Oregonians.
Catherine’s leadership, experience, skills and work ethic are great assets to be used in combating climate change and setting environmental policy. To contribute to her campaign or learn more about her campaign visit her website at catherinefororegon.com.
