The SEMG Political Committee works to protect and preserve the environment by identifying and endorsing candidates supportive of a healthy environment, and by encouraging all public officials to behave in an environmentally-responsible manner.

SEMG's action-oriented Conservation Committee works in coalition with area environmental and community organizations on a variety of issues. Current priority issues include the following issues listed on this page.
