In light of the election, Sierra Club’s work in Maryland has become even more important. Now is a critical moment to recognize our hard work and victories and come together in community to recommit to taking care of our environment and creating a sustainable future.
In that spirit, we are excited to invite you to Maryland Sierra Club’s end-of-year celebration. Join us December 15 and celebrate Sierra Club's victories in 2024 and our plans for the coming year!
Special guest Jake Day, Secretary of Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, will speak on the intersection of housing and climate. There will be refreshments and time to chat and build relationships with allies and leaders from across the state.
Hear inspiring stories of Sierra Club members and allies working to protect their environment and their communities at the local and state level.
- We helped pass local policy to address plastic pollution and build healthier buildings.
- We helped elect environmental champions up and down the ballot at the state level and are sending great environmental champions to Washington.
- We testified on over 75 bills and helped pass critical legislation to advance clean energy, protect our forests, and reduce pollution.
- And so much more!
Bring your friends and let’s focus on the good we can do and the impact we can have together for a stronger, healthier Maryland and world.
This event is a fundraiser, but we don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone, so donate generously if you are able, but register and come regardless.
