Maryland Chapter Jamboree 2015

Joining Hands to Fight Climate Change

Thank you so much to all the folks who joined us at the Maryland Chapter's 2015 Jamboree at Catoctin Mountain National Park this year!

What an awesome weekend with real inspiration from national president Aaron Mair (see his speech here and the second half here!) and terrific workshops from many dedicated presenters. There was dancing with Kim Forry and "Strings on Wings," yoga with Eddy Norton, an exciting live auction, and singing with Spice Kleinman. The bio blitz was on a perfect day, revealing salamanders and other critters and plants. Along with the activities, there were amazing moments of socializing, camaraderie, and not to mention the tastiest food on the east coast (thanks food team)!

For Jamboree Attendees:

We hope you had as much fun as we did and are looking forward to the next opportunity to interact with fellow Sierra Club members and friends. YOU are what made this event such a success! We have a few follow-up steps to help us make the next Jamboree even better and to help keep all of us involved in this important work.

1) Please take time to fill out our online evaluation. It is very important to us to receive your feedback! It helps us with future events and to better serve the community.

2) Please share your photos and stories. We would love to share any photos you may have of the Jamboree! Please send photos to Jade Miller, our fall Communications Intern, at communications.intern@mdsierra.org and cc jamboree@mdsierra.org
