A couple of weeks ago, Exelon introduced an amendment to its energy bill, SB1585. This amendment was in part an attempt to demonstrate cooperation with the Clean Jobs Coalition. Although the amendment falls short of our priorities, we are continuing to work with them to bring the two bills into parity. Support for the Clean Jobs Bill (CJB) is our strength and is the best way to accomplish this goal. Please continue to let your legislators know that CJB remains the best step that he/she can take to fix our state's energy policy, saving customers $2.6 billion on their bills through energy efficiency, improving public health and creating more than 32,000 clean energy jobs.
