Come out and enjoy an afternoon at our group’s annual fundraiser!  OnJune 25th from 3-6 p.m., Piasa Palisades Group of the Sierra Club will hold its 3rd Annual Craft Beer Tasting at the Old Bakery Beer Company at 400 Landmarks Blvd, Alton, Il. 62002. 

This year, participants will again receive a tasting glass with their admission as well as being automatically entered into the door prize drawing. We will have several donated items from local businesses available for silent auction as well as a raffle for a brand new 13.5’ kayak, donated from the Alpine Shop (O’Fallon, Il.)  This event has been a huge success in generating funds for our club but has been very poorly attended/supported by our actual members. This is the year we hope to change all that! 

This year the beer tasting will feature brews from The Old Bakery, Templar Brewing, Excel Brewing, Recess Brewing, Perennial Artisan Ales, 4Hands Brewery, Schlafly Brewing, Urban Chestnut Brew Company, and Ridgebrook Brewery will as well as several home brew clubs! If beer is not your thing there will be wine and soft drinks available for purchase.  The Jim Manley / Chris Swan Jazz Duo will provide live music. 

This is the premier fundraiser for our group and generates the bulk of the money we operate on during the year, so please consider making a monetary donation, buying raffle tickets, or putting something together to offer on our auction if you cannot attend.
