The strength of Sierra Club Florida lies in the efforts of local grassroots volunteers, whose efforts are focused in 15 local groups around the state. Groups operate independently in their geographic area to educate the public on environmental issues and influence public policy. Each group has its own executive committee, holds general meetings, organizes outings, and monitors local conservation issues. Everyone is encouraged to identify their local group and attend a meeting or event!
