San Francisco, California-- Today, in a 5-0 vote, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) unanimously approved Southern California Edison’s (SCE) Charge Ready 2 program, a $436 million electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure program that will support deploying up to 38,000 new charging stations across Southern California over the next four years.

NATIONWIDE -- Today, the Sierra Club, Plug In America, the Electrification Coalition, and Forth, released a newly updated version of AchiEVe: Model Policies to Accelerate Electric Vehicle Adoption, the most current and comprehensive national toolkit designed to accelerate the switch to clean, electric vehicles (EVs) in an effective and equitable way by providing various stakeholders with model EV policies at the state, local, and utility levels.

ALBANY, NY– Today, the New York Department of Public Service (NYDPS) released an order for a “make ready” incentive program, allocating over $700 million in incentives for utilities to invest in electric vehicle charging across the state and expand workplace and public electric vehicle charging stations. $200 million will go directly to environmental justice and disadvantaged communities.

CARSON CITY, NEVADA – Today, Governor Steve Sisolack announced that Nevada will join the growing list of over two dozen states adopting the clean car standards, which require new cars sold in the state to emit fewer greenhouse gases, as well as an increasing percentage of new cars sold in the state to be zero emission vehicles.
