We believe in getting people outside to enjoy the outdoors. The Sierra Club's members and supporters are more than 1.3 million of your friends and neighbors. Inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet. The Club is America's oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization. The Roaring Fork Valley Group is one of twelve groups within the Sierra Club's Rocky Mountain Chapter. Our group includes members from Battlement Mesa to Aspen. As a local organization, we work on many issues that affect the environment, wildlife, and people in our region. We are fortunate to live in the beautifully diverse but also delicate Roaring Fork Valley; therefore, we must actively engage in promoting awareness and protection of our resources.
