Outings are central to the Sierra Club's original mission and the NY City group is pleased to offer its members a choice of Outings conducted by trained leaders from across our region. All Sierra Club Outings are lead by trained leaders who have a first aid qualification.

In August, Sierra Club NYC Group visited the Asia Society's COAL + ICE exhibit. We were given a special, behind-the-scenes, tour by Orville Schell, Executive Producer of the exhibit and Arthur Ross Director of the Center on U.S.-China Relations at Asia Society in New York.
Sierra Club NYC goes on outing to Hudson Valley (with Lower Hudson Group!)
The NYC Group of the Sierra Club recently joined members of the Lower Hudson Group for an outing in the Hudson Valley at Bull Hill. Our members can connect with other members, access these trails by train, and get out of the city for the day!
