New Report from Sierra Club’s Arizona Water Sentinels Sounds Alarm on Verde River Declining Flows
Prescott, AZ – Today, the Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter's Arizona Water Sentinels program released an urgent update to its "Going with the Flow" report, revealing troubling trends in water flow and environmental health on Arizona's Verde River. Titled "Going with the Flow: Update Analysis of Water Sentinels Flow Data for the Upper Verde River", the report documents the critical threats facing the Verde—one of Arizona’s last free-flowing rivers—and calls for immediate conservation action..
