Happy Earth Day from Flagstaff!

Our wonderful volunteer, Kay Bordwell, joined our Grand Canyon Program Manager, Mattea Goetz, in celebrating Earth Day at Flagstaff's Earth Day festival! The Duo tabled at the event and connected with over 100 people. Folks enjoyed spinning the wheel to learn more about endangered species of Arizona and chatting about issues facing our region today. We hope to see you at Flagstaff's Earth Day Festival next year!

From the BLM: These meetings will provide forums for the public to learn more about the Bears Ears National Monument Draft Resource Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement. During the open houses, the agencies will provide a brief presentation twice (once at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.)

Mark your calendar for Rio de Flag Clean up!

The Great Rio De Flag Clean Up on Junr 1st at 9am with graphics of trash and also pristine water

Join us Saturday, June 1st from 9am - Noon. We'll be cleaning up the Sinclair Wash section of the Rio de Flag, a section that Sierra Club has adopted, and will be removing invasive weeds and trash.
