Camera Committee Treasurer and stereo-photographer Ed Ogawa takes a moment to capture purple calla lilies at the flower mart.

Folling in the footsteps of one of our earliest Camera Committee leaders, Ray McSavaney, we organized a visit to the Los Angeles Flower District, photographed and shopped there, then returned to a makeshift studio space to create still life compositions with lights, props, and backdrops and also on the scanner. One of the oldest subjects and treatments, given new life with modern instruments.
