Unique among environmental organizations, the Sierra Club is run by and for volunteers. We are truly a grassroots group of citizen activists committed to environmental stewardship and protecting our environment today and for future generations. Our effectiveness and success is based on volunteer action and leadership.
There are so many fun and meaningful ways to get involved in the Chapter's vital work to protect Wyoming's environment. Volunteer opportunities range from tabling at events, participating in or leading an outing, writing a letter to the editor, organizing a film night, contacting legislators about environmental issues, helping to elect pro-environmental politicians, organizing rallies and other events, and joining one of our Teams. We work on national and state level issues, and we are also focused on local communities.
