Local Groups
Our individual members are the heart of the Wisconsin Chapter. We are organized into six Local Groups, each with its own officers, activities, conservation priorities, programs, and activities. We work together on statewide and regional issues, and each group selects a delegate who represents the group members as a voting member of the Chapter Executive Committee.
To find the Local Group nearest to you, see the Wisconsin map on this page, read the county descriptions and leader contact information for each group below, or contact the Chapter Office for assistance.

Unassigned Areas
We are interested in activating new groups in undesignated territories, or areas in Wisconsin without a Local Sierra Club Group. Group requirements include finding several members who are willing to serve as elected local leaders to work on local conservation issues and lead outings in their communities, from recycling to lake clean-ups to mining to local elections and more. If you have an interest in working with local Sierra Club members in your area to form and maintain a Group, please contact the Chapter Office. Until then, all Sierra Club members living in Wisconsin will receive Sierra magazine, our Muir View newsletter, and have access to all Sierra Club Outings and activities.
