Join us for the 2022 Locally Grown, Nationally Known event! This year we are featuring Cain's Orchard located in Hixton, WI. Cain’s is known for their apples and blueberries, as well as their sustainable agriculture and integrated pest management practices. They'll share insights into their efforts to be good stewards of the land and the connection to Sierra Club's work, plus you'll get insight on how to make your own delicious treats with their favorite recipes.
Locally Grown, Nationally Known is a celebration of food, drink, and protecting the land that provides us with both. This event will be virtual again this year, but there will still be the opportunity to connect with people across the state who share the same interests. Bring your thinking cap for our trivia game - questions about pollinators, Native Wisconsin foods, and more will be asked!
Before or while you are enjoying the event, don’t forget to donate to help Sierra Club - Wisconsin Chapter further our work in our beautiful state.
The funds you donate will enable the Sierra Club - Wisconsin Chapter to do things like:
• Provide cleaner, more affordable energy.
• Protect our land, water, and air – from our backyards to the other side of the globe.
• Protecting threatened wildlife.
• Make the outdoors accessible for all of us.
All funds raised are used to make the biggest impact on the issues we care about.
