With less than 50 days until November 3rd, now more than ever is a critical time to get involved in the electoral process. This November, Wisconsin sees seats held for decades now finally vacant. This is our time to replace state senators and representatives who represent the fossil fuel industry more than Wisconsin citizens, and elect environmental and racial justice champions. Many environmental champions are running for election that the Sierra Club is proud to endorse for their commitment to protecting Wisconsin’s water and air and building a clean energy economy. Check out the full list of endorsements here.
As a grassroots organization, we are only as strong as our members and volunteers. In these critical final days, we will need all the help we can get to vote out an administration that has shown no regard for our environment, and instead commit to supporting environmental champions who accurately represent their communities. You can help ensure everyone’s voice is heard through joining our voter mobilization efforts. Get involved by exploring our voter outreach programs:
-
Text Team: Learn how to use Hustle and start working with our text team that has already sent out over 8,000,000 texts to voters! Folks can join the team here.
-
Call Team: Attend a short training session and then get started making phone calls to voters! You can sign up for a variety of shifts here.
-
Letter Writing Team: The letter writing teams continue their amazing progress with the goal of sending letters to 1 million voters by the November election. You can join them every Wednesday here.
-
Check out the list of endorsed candidates in your area and contact their campaign offices to volunteer as a Sierra Club member.

Elections are one of the most fundamental ways citizens can make an impact on the regulation of the environment. We invite you to take this opportunity during one of the most important election cycles in history to rise up and help us mobilize voters to cast their ballots for a future worth looking forward to.
