Please join us for an open house welcoming Elizabeth Ward, our new John Muir Chapter Director! We are pleased to announce that Elizabeth, our longtime program staffer, has accepted the position. She brings exceptional skills gained in her nine-plus years with the Chapter, and is very familiar with Wisconsin’s challenges and opportunities.
Elizabeth works with volunteers and issue committees to strategize, plan, and implement the Chapter's programs, including the Beyond Coal to Clean Energy, Beyond Oil through Clean Transportation and Our Wild Wisconsin Campaigns, as well as the Chapter's political work. She has shown exemplary leadership that will serve her well as she takes on added administrative and financial responsibilities. Her expertise and passion make her a perfect fit to take the chapter into the next decade.
Open House details: 5:30 pm, Friday, January 24 at John Muir Chapter Office, 754 Williamson St, Madison. Enjoy good food, great company and a meet and greet with Elizabeth. This is a great way to meet the Sierra Club family and learn more about how we work "behind the scenes." RSVP here!
