The Big Share: Four Days and Counting!

On Tuesday March, 1, we join over 70 non-profits in the Madison, Wisconsin area for a one-day online day of giving called The Big Share.

The Big Share will introduce you to new causes and organizations and allow you to share the stories of the work people are doing to make the world a better place.

Here at the Sierra Club, we’re raising money to support our Beyond Oil to Clean Transportation campaign.

Oil is the second largest and fastest growing source of Wisconsin’s climate-disrupting pollution. That is why the Sierra Club-John Muir Chapter has a robust campaign to move our state beyond fossil fuels to clean transportation.  We are committed to promoting smart transportation choices like transit, biking and walking, shining a light on boondoggles like unnecessary highway spending and leading the charge to stop the dirtiest oil on earth-tar sands, from flowing through our state.

As the Wisconsin branch of the nations’ oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization we are working hard to protect our state’s water, land and wildlife. Your gift during the Big Share will support our efforts to curb climate change and make a healthier Wisconsin for all.

We invite you to become an early donor or a “Pace Setter” by donating before March 1 and to join us in person at Machinery Row Bicycles on March 1 from 4 – 6 to receive a free water bottle with your donation.
