State Lands September 2024

Caring for our forests sustainably and for multiple benefits is a complex task, and there’s no one-size -fits-all solution. Fortunately, we have the tools, the expertise, and the people power to address the needs of our forest and our communities together.

Join us and our partners throughout the month of September for fun and educational events across Western Washington to celebrate the future of our State-managed forests and all the tools we have to make sure that future is bright.

For the 3rd annual State Lands September, we will be exploring what the forests of the future look like and the tools we have to make that future happen. Join a hike to learn about ecological forestry; a film screening about saving legacy forests;  a webinar about changing forest policy; and more!
