Speak Up To Remove Snake River Dams

Yes, this is still a big issue and your continued help is important for saving salmon. What can you do? Call Gov Inslee, Sen Murray and your Congressional Rep with Talking Points from our Sierra Club Snake/Columbia River Salmon Campaign Chair, Bill Arthur.

Maybe an in-person event appeals to you? Save Saturday afternoon November 20 for a vigil in Seattle highlighting the plight of endangered salmon and calling on our elected leaders to restore the Snake River. Get Connected

You can also keep the pressure up by posting a yard sign or writing postcards to your elected officials. Both are available from Nancy Johnson: Nancy.Johnson@washington.sierraclub.org

Tell Chase Bank Stop Financing Fossil Fuel

Call or email Chase Bank executives to demand a fossil free future -- where Chase Bank isn't bankrolling fossil fuels. If we can get Chase to stop, other banks will follow. Without bank financing, massive projects like oil pipelines and mountain top removal mining won't have the cash to get going. Take Action

Attend A Democracy Happy Hour Program

Help draw district voting maps. This is a high stakes issue: You've heard of Gerrymandering to unfairly influence election outcomes. We need to push back against that to ensure that communities of interest are maintained and that cities and counties are kept together. Join The Democracy Happy Hour for a Washington redistricting update and a review of the maps.
