Just Say NO: All Initiatives Are Harmful to Our State
No need to memorize Initiative numbers for marking your ballot, all of them are bad. Here are some reasons why:
I-2117 would remove protections for our air and water, forests and farmlands, jobs and transportation. That is so the polluters can pay less.
I-2066 would undermine our path to clean energy and force Washington families to pay higher energy bills.
I-2109 would slash more than $2.2 billion from public education, childcare, and early learning in order to give 4000 of the wealthiest Washingtonians a tax cut.
I-2124 would mean 3.9 million Washington citizens lose access to long-term care insurance.
|
|
Can You Help Fight I-2117?
Environmental groups have been working especially hard to share accurate information about initiative 2117. More than 650 groups belong to the coalition opposing I-2117 and their members have been reaching out to voters across the state. There are several upcoming opportunities for you to help that effort and make a difference. Check out events on the Mobilize system and sign up for one near you. |
