The Utah Chapter's Water Team is dedicated to preserving our precious water resources while ensuring equitable access and sustainable use of our water. As an arid region severely impacted by the effects of climate change and over-development, our water resources are threatened now more than ever.
Our team works to develop long-term planning strategies built on sound science, education, and social and environmental justice for all people. When planning for the future of a resource as universal as water, all stakeholders must be given a fair voice and opportunity to participate. Our team works to encourage water conservation strategies, improve water quality, and promote sustainable management of this resource.
The Utah Chapter Water Team believes this challenge can be met and is dedicated to empowering Chapter staff and volunteers to ensure our success. We welcome any and all volunteer activists who would like to participate in this team!
