This year is the 100^th anniversary of Camp High Sierra, nestled in the quiet forest near Juniper Springs. Over the decades, the Town of Mammoth Lakes has engulfed it, but it is still hidden in the trees in a peaceful setting, but not for much longer. Read more.

It's time to gear up again for our final CALTRANS Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup! Please join us on our assigned 2-mile section of Route 395, north of Mammoth Lakes, CA. We will meet at the Crestview Rest Area on Highway 395, approximately 5 miles north of Mammoth Lakes, at 8AM. Finishing time will be approximately 11AM. Please register here.

Please join us on a leisurely moderate hike to spectacular Duck Pass! En route we will pass Skelton and beautiful turquoise Barney Lake. The trail begins with moderately steep switchbacks, then mostly levels off to Skelton Lake. From there, we continue to climb to a height of land and down to Barney Lake. After crossing the brook on a short log or on rocks, we make the final switchbacked climb to the pass, where we will enjoy views of Duck and Pika Lakes beyond. Please register here.
