Elizabeth Langgle-Martin, MSW, serves as the Director of Community Engagement at The Nashville Food Project where she has been a part of food and land access work for the past 5.5 years. Elizabeth believes that access to quality, culturally appropriate food is a human right and that all people deserve power and sovereignty in their own foodways. With a history in street outreach, housing advocacy, and mental health care, Elizabeth views food and land access as a lens through which we can examine other systemic injustices. She is a student of the lived experiences of those around her, as well as those that came before her and is constantly challenged and humbled by the belief that another world is possible.
