Do you have questions about recycling in Nashville and Davidson County? Join us for this Recycle Right presentation to learn about the importance of recycling and how to Recycle Right. The presentation will cover:
- The 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
- How recycling works in Nashville
- What can and cannot be recycled
- Why not everything can be recycled

Rachel Musetti is an AmeriCorps service member for Zero Waste Nashville, a division of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, where she serves as the Recycling and Zero Waste Education Coordinator. Her work has included developing and coordinating multi-faceted education and outreach programs to help Nashvillians reduce waste, recycle right, and compost correctly, including creating the Zero Waste Leadership Training Program to foster leadership across Davidson County. Rachel has a B.A. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Sustainability Sciences from Emory University and is a SWANA Certified Practitioner in Zero Waste Principles and Practices.

The presentation was preceded at 5:30 by an optional hike around the lake led by Charlie High of the Sierra Club (meet at the Visitor Center promptly at 5:30). Registration is NOT required for the hike, but a signed waiver form is required and will be provided at the hike.
