Past, Present and Future of Radnor Lake

The presentation will be preceded at 5:30 by an optional hike around the lake led by Charlie High of the Sierra Club (meet at the Visitor Center promptly at 5:30). Registration is NOT required for the hike.

 

On Thursday April 14th at 7:00 pm, Radnor Lake Park Manager Steve Ward will present “Past, Present and Future of Radnor Lake” This powerpoint presentation discussion will be a live in-person event held at the Walter Criley Visitors’ Center at Radnor Lake next to the Otter Creek west parking lot off Granny White Pike.  Registration must be made in advance, and attendance will be limited.  

Steve has been the Park Manager at Radnor since December 2001.  Prior to that he served as park ranger at Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Area, Henry Horton State Park and Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and has been a Tennessee State Park Ranger since1995. Steve is a USMC Veteran and graduated from MTSU with a BS in Geoscience with a minor in Criminal Justice in addition to receiving his EMT-A from Jackson State in 1998. A native of Donelson, Steve’s first visit introduction to Radnor Lake was a field trip thanks to Ms. Margaret Mann’s 4th grade birding class at Pennington Elementary.
