Nashville ICO Hike for Elementary School Kids

Sierra Club Nashville ICO (Inspiring Connections Outdoors) hosted children from Preston Taylor Ministries on a hike on November 9, 2019.

We hiked the two-mile Henry Hollow Loop Trail on a chilly morning. |

The trail proceeds uphill along a stream for .6 miles. |
|
|
It then climbs .4 miles to a ridgetop. |
|
|
There were frequent stops to examine berries, acorns and friendly dogs on the trail. |
|
|
The trail returns to the picnic area down the ridge. The twenty hikers had a hearty lunch at the end of the hike. |

|
Sierra Club volunteers on the hike were Susan Stark, Grace Stranch, Kevin Liu, Bill Thrasher and Charlie High. Bill Thrasher led the hike. |
