The Warner Parks grew in 2018, with the addition of the Burch Reserve, an approximately 225 acre parcel of forested natural area park land. Previous to this addition, was the addition of the Hill Forest, a designated State Natural Area considered to be the largest tract of old growth forest in an urban area east of the Mississippi River. Vera Roberts, Warner Park Nature Center Manager, will tell us about the unique characteristics of this park property and how they are being protected by Metro Parks and Friends of Warner Parks.
