On this fantastic fall day, Bob Perlack led nine hikers of the Harvey Broome Group of the Sierra Club on this 7-mile hike (1100 foot elev gain) in the Laurel Snow State Natural Area, near Dayton TN, the home of the famous 1925 Scopes Trail. We had blue skies, mild temperatures, and optimum conditions for taking advantage of the splendid views afforded by this hike.
