North Carolina Chapter outings leaders have planned a special camping/hiking weekend to explore areas proposed for protection in the Pisgah Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest. This continues the “Camporee” tradition from the past two years. This 2018 group base camp outing will provide multiple opportunities to become familiar with some outstanding areas and proposed wilderness additions within this highly popular part of the Forest. We will be camping in multiple campsites within the Davidson River National Forest Campground near Brevard, NC. The ticket price is $35 for adults, $15 for a child and includes a Saturday night meal. 

Sierra Club members and non-members alike will have multiple opportunities to hike with an Outings Leader in the exceptional backcountry of the Pisgah National Forest.
