"We are pleased to announce today that the Sierra Club endorses Quinn Nystrom for election in Minnesota's eighth district,” said Reid Peterson, Sierra Club North Star Chapter Political Committee Co-Chair.
"Quinn Nystrom is the leader we need in the arrowhead. She knows about our issues because she lives them. She is dedicated to keeping money out of politics, to creating strong policies to keep our water clean and climate healthy. We are proud to support Quinn Nystrom."
The Sierra Club will mobilize its members and supporters to elect endorsed candidates. Endorsement decisions are made by our volunteer Executive Committee, based on the recommendations of our political committee which conducts candidate questionnaires and screenings. Throughout our process, volunteers and staff evaluate the environmental and public health records of candidates and their experience of being a true champion for creating a just, sustainable future.
