Today, the Sierra Club announced its endorsement of Rep. Dean Phillips for reelection in Minnesota's 3rd Congressional District.
"The Sierra Club is excited to endorse Representative Dean Phillips for reelection in 2020," said Margaret Levin, State Director for the Sierra Club North Star Chapter.
“In his first term, Representative Phillips has brought a strong voice for clean air, clean water, and ensuring that the Boundary Waters is protected for future generations. He has supported critical funding for water and lands protection; incentives to expand wind, solar and energy efficiency; and action to restore U.S. leadership in addressing climate change.
“We look forward to a victory for Representative Dean Phillips on election night and to continuing the fight together in Minnesota and in Washington.”
The Sierra Club will mobilize its members and supporters to elect endorsed candidates.
