Get Involved!

Participate in Upcoming Events: The Prince George’s Sierra Club group organizes monthly virtual outings to natural places near home, monthly book discussions and other educational and social events throughout the year. Join the Zero Waste Campaign:   Help us in reducing waste at its source, increasing recycling and composting, reducing litter, and minimizing the need for landfills and incinerators in Prince George’s County.  Contact:  Martha Ainsworth (Martha.Ainsworth@mdsierra.org).

Become an outings leader:  Sierra Club members over 18 years of Age can become outings leaders by taking the outings leader’s training (OLT 101), having first aid certification, and working with a mentor to develop necessary skills. Contact:  Janet Gingold (janet.gingold@mdsierra.org).
