Would you like to help an important citizen scientist project to determine migration patterns of Monarch Butterflies and possibly help conserve this amazing species?
Researchers at the University of Maine are trying to test a new model of Monarch migration. They need the help of many individuals. You don't need any special skill or scientific background. It involves downloading an app, selecting a location and then filling out a short survey of what you observe.
How to Sign Up
- Go the the University of Main project website, read through and agree to the terms and conditions here
- Write down the user name and password
- Download the Android or Apple App called Collector for ArcGIS
- Sign in using the above credentials
- Use the App following the instructions
