Do you spend every nice weekend outdoors, restoring the environment or educating others? Mother Nature will thank you, but Patapsco Heritage Greenway, Inc. may be able to pay you.
Betsy McMillion, Director of Environmental Education & Restoration Programs, is seeking a seasonal environmental event coordinator to assist in organizing and supervising volunteers for stream cleanups, tree plantings and maintenance, invasive plant removal, storm drain stenciling projects, and outdoor environmental workshops. Most events occur on weekends during the spring and fall, and take place at different sites in the Patapsco River Valley.
This could be a great moonlighting opportunity for a teacher, homeschooling parent, retiree or oxygen-starved office worker. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years supervisory experience. Hourly pay is >$15 depending on experience and qualifications. For more information, email Betsy McMillion at patapscofriend@gmail.com.
